1.1-WHITE RKB2/40 TEX, RKB2/50 TEX, AND RKB2/50 PREPARED:
The first two are white pigments without binders, to intone colors and get pastel tones, also to prepare Direct Whites adding binders and Print to them. The White RKB2/50 Prepared is ready for use and must be polymerized at 150º C 5 minutes.

1.2-DIRECT WHITES : “A-75”, “A-80”, “A84”, “A86”, “A87 BS ”, “FOR LYCRA”, “RKB2/50 SOFT TOUCH”(FAKE DISCHARGE), “SOFT CATALYTIC WHITE”, “WHITE A-9333”:
They are white pigment bases to use directly without adding binder or color.
The nine of them have elastic properties (they give elasticity to the garment stretching), but: White for Lycra, Soft Catalytic White and A-80 are the most elastic.
They all have excellent opacity on dark fabrics.
They can get mixed with Pigment Tex to get pastel tones, adding Binder in ratio 2.5 gram per each 1 gram of added color.

Seven of of them (A-75, A-80, A-84, A-86, A-87 BS, for Lycra and Soft Catalytic White) have catalytic properties (they autorreticulate without heat in 72 hours) but only in 100% cotton fabrics without dressing. The White A-80 is adequate for Synthetic fabrics or Mixtures, but it must be added from 10 to 20 grams per kg of SINTEFIX and polymerize at 150º C from 4 to 5 minutes. It is recommended to use Schablons with Silk Nº 38 to get good coating on dark fabric backgrounds.
Direct White A-87BS is “low bleed”, it is ideal to print polycotton t-shirts without dyes bleeding problems in the oven due to high temperature.
Direct White for Lycra is an elastic white for printing on dark lycra garments. It doesn’t crack and has good low bleed properties.
The Soft Catalytic White has special additives to achieve a soft and silky touch, besides of having high opacity on dark fabrics, elasticity and catalytic properties. It’s suitable for mixture garments adding 20 gr/Kg of Fixer (Poxipor or Sintefix).
The RKB2/50 SOFT TOUCH”(FAKE DISCHARGE) has a super soft touch after polymerized (150ºC, 4-5 min), similar to a discharge paste. It is excellent to achieve distressed, vintage designs.
The Direct White A-9333 is specially developed to print on automatic machines. It has dryer retarders incorporated to prevent the silk from blocking. It’s recommended to leave the screen covered with a good deposit of product. It needs to be polymerized 150ºC, 4-5 min.

1.3- COLORS “TEX”:
It use is recommended with any of the seven types of PRINT (clear fabrics) in the following maximum ratios, according to the color :

• 10 gr/kg: Reddish Violet Conc.
• 15 gr/kg: Brown RM/15 Conc.
• 20 gr/kg: Violet R
• 30 gr/kg : (Concentrated Range) : Yellows (R, 10G, GR, 2GS, GG, 5GX, HR and Golden) Conc; Oranges (R, 2G and RL) Conc; Scarlet G Conc; Reds (F2R, FGR, F4RV, FBB, 2B, F5RK and 2BS) Conc; Pink Tex Conc; Bordeaux (B and TV) Conc; Blues (Greenish V, Reddish GTB, Navy R 87/13, KRRV, LARVC, ER, EXT and RNT) all of them Conc; Turquoise Conc; Brilliant Green 80/20 Conc; Green B Superconc; Brown ST Conc; Dark Brown Conc; and Blacks (R and BP) Conc.
• 40 gr/kg : Yellows (R and Golden); Oranges (R, RD, and Reddish 70/30); Scarlet G; Reds (F2R, FGR, GR, P, F4RV, JAC Conc, FBB, 2BS, F4RH, 60402 and Ginda); Purple; Bordeaux (CL, B and TV); Blues (Greenish V, Reddish GTB, Navies R, B, ER and 2CBS); Turquoise; Greens (3G, Brilliant, B, M, Mountain TG and JB); Browns (ST, CL , RM/40 and 150); Dark Brown; and Blacks (R, BP and TS).
• 60 gr/kg: Yellow BTA Conc.
• 80 gr/kg: Reds (3BV and Violet 2R); Pink ST; Blues (Ultramarine and Navy RNT); and Brown RM/80.
The tones obtained (in full and cut 1 :10) with the maximum color ratios suggested can be observed at the "Textile Screen Printing Products Catalog" 6th Extended Edition of May-2000, and Upgrade Color Card of May-2004.
With Carrier I, E, Opel, N, etc. (Dark fabrics) 2.5 times more color than the ratios used with Print must be used. (For example: with Red P it is used 100 gr/kg).

1.4-FLUORTEX COLORS, FLUORTEX COLORS WITH CARRIER, FLUORTEX COLORS WITH ELASTYC CARRIER.:
Fluorescent colors are provided : Yellow, Yellowish orange, Reddish orange, Red, Pink and Green Fluortex. Its use is recommended at 150 gr/kg of stamping paste (Clear backgrounds). Upon request, this 6 colors are also available in concentrated form ("Fluortex conc") to be used at 100gr/kg.
For dark fabrics stamping, this six colors are available pre-mixed with Carrier for its direct use ("Carrier Fluortex").
The Fluortex Colors with Elastyc Carrier can be printed on dark, 100% cotton fabrics or policotton fabrics (in this last case add 20 gr/Kg of Fixer) when the print requires elasticity.

1.5-PUFF INKS: WHITE, COLORLESS, and FLUORESCENT PUFF
Emulsion for direct stamping. They can be colored with up to 50 g/kg Pigments Tex to obtain pastel colors (no intense color can be achieved). The Colorless Puff is adequate to obtain more intense colors (It does not turn so much the tones into pastel). The Fluorescent Puff is also provided (in its 6 colors), ready for use. After printing the puff, let it aerate until total dry-off, then apply heat with stove or iron in order to blow up the emulsion (Puff). Never apply heat if the stamp is not completely dry. The puff is only suggested for 100% cotton fabrics. In Mixed or Synthetic fabrics it’s is recommended to do an essay adding other bases (for example 50% Puff mixed with 50% SUPERPLASTICA) and polymerize with heat (150º Cº 2 minutes).

1.6- PHOSPHORESCENT TEX and PLASTICA PHOSPHORESCENT:
Emulsion for direct printing (the binder is incorporated).
It is suggested to mix the Pigment Fluortex in ratio 95% Phosphorescent and 5% Fluorescent, if it is desired that the stamping can be seen at daylight too.
Polymerize at 150º for 5 minutes. After charging the stamping with enough solar or artificial light, it can be seen in the darkness. The Phosphorescent Tex is for clear fabrics, and the Plastica Phosphorescent is opaque (for dark fabrics).

1.7- PLASTITEX:
It gives brightness and luster to colors on clear fabric backgrounds, giving brilliant plastic prints. It must be added 40 g/kg of color.
It is highly recommended for 100% synthetic fabrics (for example: Cirié), not requiring binders or any other additives.
The same for fabrics with accoutrement, not needing previous washing.
Polymerize from 100 to 120ºC, 4-5 minutes.
In case of low washing fastness, add 20 g/kg of SINTEFIX and polymerize 5 min. at 150 ºC

1.8- PLASTICA GE:
Medium elasticity, covering base; with catalytic properties (Autorreticulant = without heat) in Cotton 100%. It is used by adding up to 100 gr/kg of TEX colors.
The obtained prints are semi opaque, an intermediate between CARRIER E and SUPERPLASTICA.

1.9- PLASTISOL, PLASTISOL SOFT and SUPERPLASTICA:
Brilliant plastic bases for direct stamping on clear and dark backgrounds, adding 100 gr/kg of colors Tex (maximum). They are catalytic (Autorreticulant) in cotton 100%. They are ideal for stamping 100% synthetic fabrics and mixtures, for which it must be added from 10 to 20 gr/kg of SINTEFIX and polymerize at 150º C 5 minutes. Plastisol is also provided with the five Fluortex colors, getting very elastic stampings on dark backgrounds. The Plastisol Soft has the same properties but it has special resins to give more softness ("hand") at final touch. The SUPERPLASTICA, as its name describes, has more elasticity than the Plastisols. It has also more fastness at washing, mainly in synthetic fabrics.

1.10- POWDER (GOLDEN-SILVER-COPPER S.I.L.-CHOCOLATE) and METALLIC EMULSION:
800g of Metallic Emulsion and 200g of Powder (Golden or Silver or Copper SIL or Chocolate) are mixed. For clear backgrounds, only 100g to 120g of powder can be used. Screen print with screen less than 38 threads/cm and polymerize at 150ºC 5 minutes. It is convenient not to leave the mixture (powder-emulsion) prepared for more than one day to avoid both products reaction (oxidation and polymerization of the emulsion binder).

1.11- BRIGHT GLITTERS and GLITTER EMULSION:
The Glitter emulsion is soft-hand and almost transparent (it does not leave white tones on dark backgrounds). It must be polymerized with heat (150ºC 5 minutes at oven or iron at 160ºC 30 for 45 seconds). This emulsion should only be used for small quantities of glitter (15 g/kg maximum); for more quantities METALLIC EMULSION should be used, since it has better fastness at washing, but always polymerizing the stamp. The powdered Glitters are available in six colors: Silver, Golden, Blue, Green, Red and Iridescent. Netting of 12 to 14 threads/cm must be used to allow the powder passage. There is also a “common” silver metallic glitter, with smaller particle size; in this case, a netting of 20 to 25 threads/cm can be used.

Some of the possible combinations are:
A. From 1 to 20 g/kg Powder (depending on the desired effect) with glitter emulsion, for stamping dark backgrounds (starry effects) with open screen for fulls.
B. From 1 to 5 g/kg Powder, more than 10 to 30 g/kg Pigment "TEX", with the Emulsion; for clear backgrounds stamping.
C. For clear or dark backgrounds it can also be added to the emulsion 1 to 10 g/kg Glitter Powder, plus 50g/kg Pearlscented Powder, plus 10 to 20 g/kg Colors TEX. With this, pearlscented colors are achieved (for good definition of the design to be stamped) combined with Aleatory Brightness.

NOTICE: In case of low fastness at washing (due to high quantity of powder and/or pigments) the Metallic Emulsion can be used in stead of Glitters Emulsion, because it is more resistant to washing.

1.12-PEARL INK:
It is used directly. It can be toned with approximately 5 g/kg of colors TEX. Polymerize at 150ºC 5 minutes.

1.13-METALIZED FOIL PAPER (GOLD-SILVER) AND WATERBASED FOIL ADHESIVE:
The heat-activated adhesive is printed on the fabric, then it is left to aerate for a while, and later the metalized foil paper is applied and ironed with "Transfer" iron, regulating temperature, time and pressure (for example: maximum pressure, 120/140ºC for 10/20 seconds).
Finally let it cool and tear off the remaining metalized paper.

1.14- PRINT:
Source paste for clear fabrics stamping (also called Extender or Coupage). The correct percentage of white-spirits and its additives, heighten the colors and facilitate the aerate of the garments. There are 6 kinds of Print:

Print "ST" (standard): the Binder must be incorporated; this will block the color to the fabric by polymerization (150ºC 5 minutes). The base formulation to prepare the stamping paste is:

40 g maximum color (except Pink, Violet, Brown RM/80, Fluortex, etc. See 1.3 & 1.4).
100 g Binder (120 at 150 g with Blues and Blacks).
860 g de Print "ST"
1000 g

Print "L SOFT" (with Binder): It contains the Binder and other incorporated additives. It must only be added with the color (for example: to prepare Yellow R it will be used 40 g color and 960 g Print "L Soft"). Polymerize at 150ºC 5 minutes.

Print "LS" (Lycra and Streech): Print for synthetic fabrics 100% (Polyester, Nylon, Lycra, Streech, etc.). It contains specific acrylic resins that reticulate the color in this kind of fabrics. It does not require Binder, but it is convenient to strengthen it with 10 to 20 g/kg of Sintefix. Polymerize at 150ºC 5 minutes. This product must be stored/kept covered and at fresh places, to avoid its auto reticulation (lumps forming). Besides, it happens to have much residual "tack" depending on the fabric and the applied ink. It is convenient to perform previous essays to determine if it is necessary to tone it down with Print L Soft keeping fastness at washing.

PRINT LS 11: Specially developed Print for Automatic Screen Printing Machines. It has incorporated dryer delayers to avoid the screen from blocking in long productions. It’s recommended to leave the screen covered with a good deposit of product. Polymerize 150ºC, 4-5 min.

Print "AP" (High penetration): For very thick cotton fabrics (for example: towels). It requires the Binding adding like the "Print ST". Polymerize at 150ºC 5 minutes.

Print "CATALYTIC” , “CATALYTIC SOFT" AND BRAZILIAN: they don´t require polymerization by heat (oven / baking), auto reticulating the color to the fabric in 72 hs., but only in garments 100% cotton without accoutrement. It can be applied to mixed synthetic fabrics (with cotton) using from 10 to 20 g/kg of Sintefix, but it must be polymerized at 150ºC during 5 minutes. If the fabric to be stamped causes fibrillation ("pilling") after some washings because of the kind of fuzz of the cotton, it is convenient to add 10 to 20% Superplástica (to Print Catalytic or Catalytic Soft). This will plastify even more the stamping avoiding the surface appearance of cotton fuzz. Also POXIPOR can be used (see 2.22)

1.15-CARRIER “I”, “OPAQUE SOFT”, “E”, “OPEL” , “N” , “CARRIER FOR LYCRA”, “SOFT CATALYTIC CARRIER” AND “SOFT TOUCH CARRIER"
Carrier is the counterpart of Print "L Soft" but for dark fabrics (it heightens the colors). It contains the Binding incorporated. It is suggested to use 2.5 times more color than in the ratios used with Print (for example: for Blue GTB is 100 g/kg of color and 900 g/kg of Carrier). There are 5 types of Carrier:

CARRIER "I" (standard) and "OPAQUE-SOFT": They must be polymerized at 150ºC 5 minutes. Opaque tones are achieved (lustreless).

CARRIER "E" and "OPEL": Idem Carrier "I" but they also have catalytic properties auto reticulating without heat in 72 hs, only on 100% cotton. In mixed synthetic fabrics, add SINTEFIX (20g/kg) and apply heat (150ºC 5 minutes).

CARRIER "N": Idem Carrier "E" and "OPEL" but much more elastic, soft and brilliant (similar to Brazilian rubber). In synthetic or mixture fabrics, add 10 to 20 g/kg of SINTEFIX and polymerize at 150ºC 5 minutes.

CARRIER FOR LYCRA: Special for printing over dark Lycra fabrics. Great elasticity when garment is pulled and good penetration in elastic fabrics. Add 20 g/Kg of Sintefix and polymerize at 150ºC – 5 min.

SOFT CATALYTIC CARRIER: Opaque and elastyc soft base, for printing on dark fabrics. It is the softest of all the carriers. It has no tack and it doesn’t need to be polymerized. It is catalytic (after 72 hs).

Semi-opaque prints are obtained.

SOFT TOUCH CARRIER: Semi Opaque base. It has a super soft touch after polymerized (150ºC, 4-5 min), similar to a discharge paste. It is excellent to achieve distressed, vintage designs.

1.16-REFLECTIVE BASE:
There are two kinds: the common one is gray, and it is applied mixing 65% Black Base and 35% Reflective Powder. For many colors Metallic Emulsion 65% and 35% Powder is used, and it is toned with minimum amount of pigments TEX (1 g/kg approximately). Polymerize at 150ºC 5 minutes.
In the other hand, from “Union Ink”, three reflectives are provided: AQFL-1500 (water base reflective), RELF-1500 (clear gray reflective plastisol) and REFL-1504 (dark gray reflective plastisol)

1.17-BRILLIANT BASES (water and plastisol) and HIGH SQUARE BRILLIANT GEL:
The water-based is a base with translucent brightness to apply directly, without color, over half dried stamps or straight over fabric (clear or dark backgrond). It is convenient to iron after letting it aerate to improve its softness.
The plastisol-based is MIXO- 9070, from “Union Ink”, and must be polymerized 2 minutes at 160ºC. Ironing improves softness and brightness also.
The brilliant high square gel is the HI GLOSS GEL CLEAR, from “Union Ink”; it is applied using height-prepared screen (200 to 700 microns). Must be polymerized 3 to 4 minutes at 160 ºC.

1.18- WHITE PLAQUE (UNDERBASE WHITE) AND WHITE PLAQUE BASE:
The White Plaque is useful to make "Anchoring" on dark garments with screen Nº 45 (2 to 4 passes according to the background), then let it aerate over the table for some minutes (or speed it up with hot ventilation or "Electric Flash") without polymerizing (only semi-dry at touch). Apply the White Plaque Base over it, colored with 40 to 50 g/kg of color or using PRINT CATALITIC SOFT colored with 40g/kg of color (if it is necessary, thicken with 0.5% Antimigration to improve definition). It can also be mixed (to apply over) with PRINT CATALITIC SOFT in case of pastel tones, or with CARRIER E.
At the end, the products must be ironed at 160ºC 1 minute in order to "weld" each other and with the fabric.

1.19- CHAMOIS EFFECT (Suede):
It is a Base that pretends a "Peach-like Skin" (Chamois) effect and it can be colored up to 100 g/kg of Pigments TEX. After stamping let it aerate until total dry-off, and finally iron (160 ºC for 7 seconds) or bake (130 ºC for 2 minutes).

1.20- CAVIAR and GLASS BEADS:
Print with open mesh (20 threads/cm) the GLASS EMULTION, then put the Caviar or Glass beads over the printed base. Press over the beads using a bottle or similar, just to be sure all beads have adhesive below. Put the garment into the oven for 5 minutes at 150 ºC. Check very well the fastness at washing first (dry and wet).
Caviar Beads come in seven colors: transparent, white, orange, pink, red, violet and black.

1.21 - WHITE AND CARRIER FOR CRACK EFFECT:
Direct “Non-elastic” White and Carrier for printing on cotton or mixture fabrics designed to obtain Crack or “Vintage” Effect.
Print using open-silk screens (30 to 38 threads/cm). After printing, the product must be polymerized in oven, 150ºC – 5 min. Once polymerized, stretch the printed fabric in order to produce the crack or Vintage effect.

1.22- PREPARED COLORS (upon request):
Upon customers request, any of the colors TEX or Fluortex, are provided ready for stamping:
• With Print ("L SOFT", "LS", "Catalytic" and "Catalytic Soft").
• With Carrier ("I", "E", "Opel" and "N").
